I'm your host, ~megawackymax. I'll guide you in this attempt to get all that fanart together. Keep reading for further info on how to join and submit your "Hey, Arnold!" art, plus some other things you might want to read as well.

Great, a quicker update!

I have been putting some thought on the Club, and I have decided I shall make WEEKLY UPDATES. That is to say, on the weekend I will log in to check new submissions (Notes and Comments) and then add them to the Club. So, those who send Notes and expect a quick answer... Sorry! Wait for the weekend!

This way I can take a better care of the Club, giving a regular check every one or two weekends. Well, now you know it, so keep sending art!

ALSO, recently the Club has been putting up many Fan Fiction. These pieces, different to graphical art, give me a couple of headaches to upload, so I have made a couple of modifications in the "How To Send Art" list down on this very same Journal. If you plan to send fics, PLEASE take a good reading at it!!

OKAY, it seems we currently have enough members for a very nice start. I've already added my own art to the club... But, hey, I'm not the only one!

It's now up to YOU, members, to help filling up the club! Share your art! Check down below for instructions on how to submit your art pieces to ArnoldMania. The more, the merrier.

ALSO, I'm working on the ideas I comment further in this journal. The Cooperative Projects and Request Box will be a reality soon (yet not THAT soon... I have a life, see?), so stay tuned for the main news.


- - - - - How to Join - - - - -

Join the club, it's quite simple! Just follow these few steps:

1) Send a Note to the club with the subject "I want to join". No need to add a message, but it's okay if you do.

2) Show you are part of the club! DevWatch us (so you can know all the new stuff first-hand), and be kind to add our DeviantIcon in your Journal. A link on your Signature works as well.

3) That's all! See? Told ya it was piece of cake...

- - - - - Submitting your Art - - - - -

Once a member, you can start sending us your art. Just send a Note with the subject "Sending Art". Include in the message links to your art pieces. We will re-post it here for everyone to see. Just have in mind the following rules:

To the Artist:

1) The art MUST be related to "Hey, Arnold!" (a giant collage with thousands of different characters with only Helga's appearance in one corner is not good!).

2) The piece must be yours and it must be in your Gallery. Read further to know why.

3) Remember that DeviantArt is Always Watching, so try not to send compromising art (these including extreme violence, racism, sex, drugs, and rock'n'roll... I'm kidding about the rock'n'roll, but the rest is a no-no for the club). We confide in the artist's common sense, so don't diappoint us, okay?


To the Writer:

1) The story you send MUST be related to "Hey, Arnold!" (a large novel with a mere cameo of any of the characters is not good!).

2) The text must be yours and it must be in your Gallery. Read further to know why.

3) IMPORTANT: DeviantArt now isn't allowing texts that go farther than 64Kb. If you submit an old text which clearly goes past that limit, I will be CUTTING IT DOWN in two different parts. Please be kind and make sure the text is below that limit. It's not a complain, but it really takes a lot of of time from me.

4) IMPORTANT: Text is not the same as Graphics, so in a text it is much more difficult for me to spot possible Mature content (just uploading the pieces alone takes me a lot of time). PLEASE, as the Author, you are responsible of what you send. Make sure your story adjusts to DeviantArt Mature rules.


From the Club:

1) The art sent by the artist will be re-posted in this club. It will include the original title given by the artist. Visitors won't be able to comment nor fav the pieces in the club, however (read below).

2) Every piece will contain the name of the original artist and a direct link to the original piece, so people will be able to comment and fave the original art in the original author's Gallery. Handy, huh?

Right now I'll move strings so the club works as a standard thing: the members send art in, I manage to re-post it here.

However, I have a few ideas for the very near future. These will include Cooperative Projects and a Request Box, among others.

By now, just join the club and send the art. And let the future approach.
